What is the license?
As the Joomla OSM board suggests, all TapTheme PHP code is GPLv2 and all CSS and images are copyrighted. You're free to edit the images for your own usage, but not free to redistribute.
What is the domain usage?
You're free to use TapTheme on all your own sites. If you do client work, we ask that you purchase a copy for them, but we're not going to chase you down.
Are these apps?
No, TapTheme(s) are templates (sometimes called "themes" or "skins"). TapTheme changes the appearance of your site for iPhone or iPad traffic. There's no need for any of these visitors to install or setup anything, they see it automatically (if you've set it to display automatically in the plugin).
How do I change the logo?
You simply created your own logo.png and upload it to the proper location in your template images folder. See documentation for your device.
Are the icons included?
Yes, the icons are included with your download package. You can also download them for free. The iPhone icons are from the Tango Desktop Project and the iPad icons are the Nixus Icon Pack from Tutorial9.
What if I'm using SEF?
If you are using Joomla SEF for your SEO urls and want different mobile pages, you need to change the "alias" in your Joomla menu item to something different than your normal pages. SEF will only use 1 of these and does not allow for duplicates.
How do you I find module positions?
You can tack on ?tp=1 or &tp=1 to your url to reveal module positions or click below: iPhone, iPad, & Android
